Though I agree with this take, especially fake metrics…
Some of this has to do with the two being compared.
1️⃣ The game stealth announced, other than a couple of people watching before, which I was not one of.
Also agree with @vohvohh, she should be called to play the game as well as @ProofOfEly and @EasyEatsBodega who play The Finals with each other.
But on the other hand, you have @Lamboland_ who is in the top 10 of voices in web3 who has been teasing project X for weeks.
He understands attention and made Pacmoon, which gave a tremendous amount of value (money) to people who believed in that project.
2️⃣ Web3 gaming is no longer a speculative play and leading with gameplay takes one of your cards away in the degen playbook.
People follow projects on CT for more if they will be able to earn, not if they will find that game entertaining.
Launching any type of information, especially in gaming, grounds it towards value that can be compared to something that has already been launched.
The reason Overworld project Incarna did well is that it was amazing at never showing gameplay and selling the vision.
But if you lead with speculation you die from expectation debt.
3️⃣ People following Project X don’t care about Lambo as much as the vehicle he is building to make money. I will not be one, I hope this makes him and his team money because Pacmoon had amazing potential but got wrecked by Elon's api privacy.
The following for Project X is inflated with grinders, alts, and bots who want to extract. Lol the game pretty much has the amount of real gamers in web3.
I thought what Lambo did with Pacmoon was the best form that we had in social fi. It was like eating organic food versus canned food.
Regardless, I will support both.

Viele KOLs haben heutzutage ein geringes Engagement und eine geringe Konversion ("gewaschen", wenn Sie so wollen). Viele sind auch dafür bekannt, bezahlte Inhalte nicht offenzulegen, ihre Metriken künstlich aufzublähen und Müll zu fördern.
Nur wenige beherrschen die Aufmerksamkeitsökonomie und heben gleichzeitig interessante Unternehmen hervor – achten Sie auf diese Personen.
(Es wird auch immer offensichtlicher, wer hier ist, weil er diese Branche liebt (und Geld verdienen will), und wer nur hier ist, um Geld zu verdienen.)
