Crypto companies are going to IPO and follow a new GTM script -> Onchain holders have early access to public shares (some could be converted) -> Select onchain holders could convert tokens to real equity with set parameters -> IPOs will view viewed as the “new bullish” play -> Marketing the IPO will also be a new thing the way that ICOs were heavily marketed early days -> Onchain assets are likely to pump once the IPO is launched and it “goes well” aka people make a ton of money -> Onchain assets could further pump as the team that launched the IPO could could purchase + sweep their own assets as a sign of “bullish belief” and place in their own treasury -> Pretty cool that the team has revenue now and generated a massive amount from the huge IPO liquidity event -> Potential side down for crypto companies that do this because they now have public earning reports and degens will be all over it -> Unlike in crypto most of the public doesn’t know the company is failing until they tweet it. That changes -> Infinite upside for those that do well on the books. It will reflect stock price and onchain asset price -> Vice versa if the team starts struggling the treasury, the public stock price and the onchain assets will suffer I believe that many are already considering this But they’re waiting for the first few demonstrations to say to their BOD that this is something they should do First movers could get the advantage here to x20 company valuation and mindshare The risk of flopping is always high too All in all this is the next directional decision when it happens idk but it’s going to happen Imo it’s way too telegraphed
