a lot of people start trading memes after seeing the flashy pnl posts & streamer videos and get upset that the same thing doesn’t just happen to them (and some then crashout & quit). in truth you’re not supposed to be good. you’re not gonna come in here and automatically hit a 100x on a 1 sol ape & if you do you will probably lose at least half right after. it’s incredibly rare for someone to join this space and just “get it” (only exception i can think of is @BeanzzSOL). when i first started trading memes i only bought one coin & shilled it every day for three months. just staying on the sidelines and watching other coins & charts while not partaking in them helped me understand the game so much more. when i started trenching for the first time i developed my own edge, sneaking into sub 10k coins that had a really good meta-fitting narrative before cabal wallets got in (how i turned 2 sol into $30k on $omg). long story short, money doesn’t grow on trees & for you to win someone else has to lose & if you’re just starting off you’re probably gonna be losing a lot more than winning (and that’s normal) everyone has their own style (bidding high volume runners, buying established community coins, buying runners with size after they tap 1m, pvping sub 100k shitters, buying dead coins, frontrunning narratives, etc.) you just need to find yours. persevere 🦎.
