In a recent FOMC meeting, Powell mentioned that he is mostly focused on PDFP, or Real Final Sales to Private Domestic Purchasers, when gauging growth outlook. This is to ignore noise from huge variance around net exports due to tariffs. PDFP ticked lower in this GDP report.
