tecnococo is an emergent generative AI character created by artist and animator Glenn Marshall. tecnococo embodies female form and science fiction, rebuilding, reconstructing and transforming herself through random image variations.   For decades, Marshall has been at the forefront of Digital art through computer animation. Now, he pioneers a fascinating evolution, venturing into the realm of generative AI to create his latest collection. The intriguing name 'tecnococo' emerged organically from the AI itself, a playful echo of the 'technology' that underpins its creation, sometimes even subtly appearing within the artwork. Through months of dedicated code and technical innovation using platforms like Touch Designer and Stream Diffusion, Marshall has developed a unique process he calls 'generative AI collage.' This involves the real-time creation of countless AI-generated images, which he then meticulously curates and intricately stitches together to form larger, more complex artworks. This painstaking approach transcends simple AI generation, allowing Marshall to push the boundaries of his artistic vision and explore a limitless generative environment, offering collectors a unique perspective on the evolving landscape of AI art.
