FLUF World #2351
Radar the Rabbit. Radar was always a bit different than the other rabbits. For one thing, he had bright red eyes that glowed in the dark. His fur was also a bit thicker and coarser than the other rabbits, making him appear more like a bully than a Bunny. But Radar didn't mind. He liked being different. It made him feel special. As a young rabbit, Radar loved to explore the front background of his home - the field beyond the forest where mushrooms grew in abundance. He would spend hours picking them and eating them, much to his mother's dismay (she worried he would make himself sick). But Radar knew what he was doing; after all, he was different from other rabbits, so surely he knew better than they did! As Radar grew older, he began to appreciate his difference even more. Where other rabbits saw only darkness, Radar saw possibility; where others feared venturing out into new territory, Radar saw adventure waiting to be had; where others thought only of themselves, Radar thought of others too - how could he not help but be successful? After all, wasn't that what being different was all about? "Don't be afraid to be different," advises Radar today. "It's what makes you special - and it's what will help you succeed in life."
