Společnost Polymarket získala QCEX, burzu a clearingové centrum regulované CFTC, za 112 milionů dolarů.
To nám otevírá cestu k tomu, abychom opět přivítali americké obchodníky.

Pro Ameriku je životně důležité, aby byl Mamdani zvolen starostou New Yorku. Může pomoci maximálně a rychle zdanit bohaté, postavit státem řízené obchody s potravinami, eliminovat policejní sílu, zmrazit nájmy a učinit veřejnou dopravu bezplatnou.
Je nepravděpodobné, že zdanění bohatých způsobí, že se přestěhují do jiných měst (kolaps daňových příjmů v New Yorku), nebo že městem provozované obchody s potravinami nezvýší spotřebu čerstvé zeleniny v centru města, nebo že zrušení newyorské policie způsobí nárůst kriminality a pokles kvality života, nebo že zmrazení nájmů dožene pronajímatele k tomu, aby se zbavili nemovitostí (kolaps cen a příjmů z daně z nemovitosti). nebo že bezplatná veřejná doprava vyústí v kleptokracii vedenou odbory. V žádném případě. Jsem si jistý, že tentokrát bude socialismus jiný...
pokud se Američané nechtějí poučit z neúspěchů socialismu jinde, měli bychom se snažit se je co nejrychleji poučit zde.
Ujistěme se, že jedno nebo dvě města a státy se rychle rozpadnou, aby zbytek nemusel.. Zvolte Mamdani!
Poté, co nahromadili dluh ve studentských půjčkách ve výši 2 bilionů dolarů, který nikdy nebudou schopni splatit, není žádným překvapením, že "vysokoškoláci vzdělaní v New Yorku podporují Mamdaniho v poměru 61-39". současný systém je zklamal.
Pravdou však je, že více vlády nemusí být odpovědí, když je do tohoto okamžiku mohlo dostat příliš mnoho vlády (nevybíravé federální studentské půjčky bez ohledu na cenu nebo kvalitu titulu nebo instituce).
Je to však jemná připomínka, že výřečný ignorant není o nic správnější než jeho méně charismatický/autentický politický soupeř. Fakta, data, pravda stále stojí nad teorií, narážkami a kecy. Socialismus nebude fungovat. Pokud se máme znovu naučit tuto lekci tvrdou cestou, udělejme to rychle a zvolme Mamdaniho.

You Heard It Here First. Friedberg's Most Contrarian Belief for 2025: "A dramatic rise in socialist movements in the US."
According to Polymarket, Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani has closed a massive gap on Andrew Cuomo over the past month for the Democratic nomination for NYC Mayor.
Mamdani's chances jumped from ~6% to 55%, while Cuomo fell from 93% to 45%.
On June 23, Mamdani surged ahead of Cuomo after a surprise poll showed him ahead.
This tracks Friedberg's 2025 prediction of a "dramatic rise in socialist movements in the US."
Here was his explanation in early January:
" My contrarian belief is that we'll see a rise, a dramatic rise, in socialist movements in 2025 in the United States."
"And I think that some industries and some companies are going to be huge winners and some companies are going to be huge losers."
"There's gonna be some parts of the economy that are gonna be big winners and some parts of the economy that are gonna be big losers."
"When you have this sort of a change this fast, there are often large contingents of people that are left behind."
"And when that happens, I do think that the socialist policies and the socialist movements gain steam."

According to Polymarket, there is now an 80% chance that the debt WILL exceed $38T this year.
