Een paar weken geleden schreef ik: “Ik ontmoette @JuhyukB vandaag voor het eerst in een tijdje, en hij stelde me voor aan een team dat de sterkste indruk op me maakte.”
Dat team was @Arch Network.
Ik eindigde met de oprichter te zitten voor ongeveer 3–4 uur, en om eerlijk te zijn, ik was nooit echt diep geïnteresseerd in het Bitcoin-ecosysteem. Ik wist er niet veel van, en eerlijk gezegd voel ik me er nog steeds niet bijzonder toe aangetrokken.
Maar na het horen van de ecosysteemstrategie van Arch, merkte ik dat ik oprecht geïnteresseerd raakte in de Bitcoin-ruimte—niet omdat ik oorspronkelijk in Bitcoin zat en Arch ontdekte, maar andersom:
Ik raakte eerst geïnteresseerd in Arch—specifiek hun benadering van ecosysteem- en dApp-ontwikkeling—en pas daarna begon ik aandacht te besteden aan het bredere Bitcoin-ecosysteem dat ze aan het opbouwen zijn.
Het ecosysteemhandboek van Arch is zeer experimenteel, en als het slaagt, geloof ik dat het niet alleen invloed kan hebben op bestaande Layer 1s en Layer 2s, maar ook op de nog te komen.
Het is een lange tijd geleden dat ik een project ben tegengekomen dat aanvoelt als iets dat echt inspirerende schrijfsels kan opleveren. Arch is een van die zeldzame projecten.

I have never been more excited to tell the world what I’m about to say here.
I’m joining Arch Network!
Arch Network is:
1) an execution layer for Bitcoin
2) with a purpose built VM for stronger expressivity and speed
3) that preserves the Bitcoin UX (no bridges, no new wallets)
My journey in crypto started when I bought my first Bitcoin in 2015.
First I didn’t quite understand it, so I sold right after making a quick profit (RIP).
Then after watching some videos from the GOAT Andreas Antonopoulos, something just clicked.
Since then, I’ve been telling my friends and family to buy Bitcoin.
Nobody understood.
Now they ask me if it’s ok to buy.
Fast forward to 2023, when I saw the first Ordinals and BRC-20 tokens being traded on Bitcoin, I quickly realized this will fundamentally change what Bitcoin is.
Again, the maxis mocked me and called me names.
But I will prove them wrong.
I want the world to see Bitcoin as a network, not only money.
Bitcoin must adapt to the changing world.
Bitcoin is not a finished project.
Bitcoin will not prevail unless we take active measures.
And it needs a true solution, not just another EVM L2.
I'm choosing Arch Network because I see it as the only solution that is purpose-built for Bitcoin.
I've looked at everything else, and nothing compares: Arch is bringing Solana-like speeds to real, native Bitcoin apps.
And it's going to change everything.
So what do I actually do at Arch Network?
I will be creating content to spread the word of Arch as the Asia Content Lead.
But everything will start from my home ground Korea.
Nevertheless, I would love to connect to all fellow Bitcoin enjoyers in Asia.
