The war paint began as a joke, a response to a customer who called their honey cakes a “sacrilege.” To their surprise, sales tripled. Now, the intimidating look is just good business. They confess that the best part of the job is watching a powerful geomancer, capable of moving mountains, nervously purchase a forbidden jam tart in a dark alley.
