Since Oct 7, based on the Gaza Health Ministry’s own figures, Gaza has had fewer deaths from malnutrition per 100,000 people than many countries around the world that are not at war. In other words, notwithstanding the UN and Hamas’s efforts to thwart the delivery of food from Israel into Gaza, Israel has done a good job of making sure that those who massacred their loved ones on October 7 aren’t hungry - while Hamas continues to starve and torture the Israeli hostages.
