The debate is this: will small caps ever lead again for long stretch of time OR are they permanently handicapped bc stud companies wait till they’re large to IPO nowadays so small caps lack any real growth and excitement (like a farm league w out any prospects). I lean the latter but im not totally sure.

This is some chart. @EricBalchunas and I were discussing this one last night - can small caps ever again get a bid? It is complicated of course but like the set up for 2026 and maybe sooner...

US Crypto ETFs took in $12.8b in July, the best month ever, a $600m/day pace, about double avg. As a group that's more than any single ETF did, incl the Mighty VOO. Further, every ETF in category took in cash (ex the converted Trusts) w/ Bitcoin and Ether making equal contributions. Most all-around dominant performance since the Eagles ended the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Will be hard to top.

It’s hard to be a needle mover for $BLK at >$12T. But digital assets have been a story. Combined with active ETFs were biggest piece of organic base fee growth in ‘24. Also nice iShares flywheel
