At least when it comes to New Jersey, I can assure you all that conscientiousness amongst the young has not been falling over the last batch of decades.

.@christinahkim says the frontier isn't benchmarks anymore. It's usage. Eval scores are saturated, but daily life isn’t. The real signal of progress is how many people use AI to get real things done. That’s how we’ll know we’re approaching AGI.

GPT-5 is the smartest model we've ever done, but the main thing we pushed for is real-world utility and mass accessibility/affordability. we can release much, much smarter models, and we will, but this is something a billion+ people will benefit from. (most of the world has only used models like GPT-4o!)

The 'vibe shift' on here is everyone realizing they will still have jobs in 2030.
