Last month, I was in Louisiana, visiting Speaker Johnson's hometown of Shreveport. Even in the most conservative parts of this country, people are standing up and saying: NO to authoritarianism. NO to oligarchy. NO to huge tax breaks for the rich & massive cuts to Medicaid.
