The Queen bragged that her daughter, Andromeda, was the most beautiful in all the land and sea. This made the gods very angry. So, the divine gave the royal family a choice: sacrifice Andromeda to a sea monster, or that same monster will destroy your entire kingdom. Andromeda’s story has been told around the world for thousands of years. Over time, her true African identity has been forgotten. Yatreda, the family of artists from Ethiopia, interprets this original Greek legend the way the ancient storytellers intended.
