Shaheed Udham Singh 26/12/1899 - 31/07/1940 Shaheed Udham Singh, a complicated & multifaceted #Indian revolutionary, served in the 32nd Sikh Pioneers of the Indian Army in Mesopotamia prior to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar 1919 as per @tweeter_anita 'The Patient Assassin'. He would later avenge the massacre & assassinate Michael O'Dwyer, the Lieutenant Governor of Punjab. Today marks 85 years since Udham Singh was executed in @HMPPentonville prison.
