Creating subnames under your ENS name is easy - and powerful. Subnames let you create new identities under your .eth name for friends, family, projects, wallets, and more.

1/ Here's how to create a subname 👇 First, head over to the ENS App and search for your ENS name and connect your wallet. (You’ll need to be the owner or have permissions to manage the name.)

2/ Next, click the “Subnames” tab. Click "Create Subname" and choose what you want your new subname to be e.g. vault.yourname.eth, hotwallet.yourname.eth, or anything else you like.

3/ After choosing a name you can optionally prefill profile records (like avatar, address, etc.). Once you click “Create”, you’ll approve the first transaction to create the subname. Then you’ll see a second transaction to write those profile records.

4/ That’s it - your subname is live! You can repeat the process for as many subnames as you want under your ENS name - perfect for gifting, organization, or building your own ecosystem of identities. Learn more in our full guide here: 🔗
