Some fresh stats from @vercel, last 30min: ▪️ 34.9% of traffic is bots ▪️ 22% of bot traffic is malicious & auto-blocked ▪️ 6% of blocked attacks came from known CDNs¹ ¹ These are attacks that existing WAF/CDN solutions miss. Consider a rapid spike of 100k+ requests per second. It could be devastating to you (e.g.: imagine hitting expensive DB or AI calls), but because it doesn't look like "DDoS", they gets proxied right through. These %s skew much higher during very active periods of attacks. They might very well push beyond 50% when large botnets go after high-value targets, like we see during crypto launches, major elections, protests, sports events, etc.
