Reading 'After the Spike' right now, about two thirds done. The book seems broadly correct in all its arguments, but I'm not enjoying it all that much because it all seems... very obvious? Maybe I'm too steeped in the ideas already?

Seems better as a book to convert non-politics obsessives, not sure if I would recommend it to people who already think about this stuff a lot.
