🧵 Bitcoin Market Analysis | August 6, 2025 Trying something new today: a market thread. 📈 Bitcoin broke its all-time high, but here’s the catch: long-term holders are started to sell into the strength. What happend and what can we expect? Let’s break it down 👇

2/ Yep, the LTH selling pressure includes the 80,000 BTC sold by the Satoshi-era wallet. Those headlines grab attention, but trust me, the market’s bigger than just that single whale.

3/ Retail is stepping in after the ATH, no surprise there. They usually show up during the hype and after ATH breakouts… and this time’s no different.

4/ Fresh capital did help the ATH-breakout buyers. Firms like Strategy and Metaplanet stepped in. But it wasn’t enough to hold Bitcoin around the ~$120k level.

5/ And guess what: Short-Term Holders started to puke and sell at a loss. Losses realized: • July 15–18: 52,230 BTC in just 3 days • July 24–28: 42,493 BTC over 4 days • After July 31: 70,028 BTC in losses across 6 days IMO, that last one stands out. It's not just the size, but the duration. It’s longer than usual, and that’s worth watching.

6/ And that’s not all: ETFs are also seeing outflows. They’re relatively small compared to previous periods, but still worth noting.

7/ So where are we now? Bitcoin is finding support around its previous ATH — roughly $112K. This chart is from a technical perspective 👇

8/ On-chain data backs it up too. ▶ There’s strong support in the $108K–$112K range. Plenty of movement was in there before, and it’s showing up again now.

9/ So far this cycle, we haven’t seen any previous ATH break down — and that’s important. Until that changes, this looks like a normal pullback. Time to stay calm and let the selling pressure play out. But if we do break below a former ATH ($112k), that’s a real shift in market behavior. It would signal that ATH breakouts are starting to lose momentum.
