Human nature is weird. One of my sons refuses to walk out of the bathroom without washing his hands after peeing (truly 100% compliance) while the other refuses to flush and pretends he didn't touch anything so he doesn't have to wash his hands (he'd be 0% compliance if we didn't watch him). Same parenting for both.
