While we are always excited to celebrate our Ws- it's important to share that I have debunked more scam hiring/work tactics this week than anything else. This is real @solana_devs and a real problem. Never get too excited about a cold DM here or LinkedIn (or even email). Some of the stuff I have seen this week alone: * Hi I am from Superteam - want to hire you. [Builder agrees to payment, and builds for 3 weeks} project rugs, changes repo and blocks. (BTW- always keep the code you write for others- that's your PoW) * Hi- we are hiring for (insert insane sounding opportunity) and you are a great candidate. Click this link, fill the form- and then take this technical assessment we will pay you on a scale according to how many questions you answer in the time alotted. (Polygon Summer 2021 vibes anyone?) * I want to hire some people, we can pay them when we are finished our raise. (Insert very compelling narrative that inspires confidence) - continue conversation and find holes in narrative. Not pursuing. Bottom line is that these come in many forms- be vigilent, never trust that they are who they say they are, and vet with someone who has been around a little bit.
