LUCA “PUDGY WILL DO $50-60m REVENUE THIS YEAR” I always find Lucas interviews interesting The guy is the spin master And credit to him his strategies above board or not have worked But I struggle to understand his numbers Luca says they will do $50-$60m this year from toys and licensing He also says that their model is approx 25% to Pudgy on a $10 toy For Pudgy to do $50-$60m that would mean $200m-$240m in gross sales On an average $10 item That’s 20m toys sold not 2m so which is it? Yet Luca says they have sold 2m toys in the last 2 years Sorry but this guys numbers never stack up At best they would be getting 10% Will be interesting if they do go public and then try and get through an audit process My guess is they have made a lot of money from 3rd parties selling pengu at the top and rebuying the lows Congrats to Pudgy holders for making a huge bag.
