#Chainlink Launches Strategic Onchain $LINK Reserve! @Chainlink has unveiled the Chainlink Reserve, a new upgrade aimed at supporting the long-term growth of the network by accumulating LINK tokens from both onchain service usage and offchain enterprise payments. Using Payment Abstraction, offchain and onchain revenue is programmatically converted into LINK through Chainlink services and decentralized exchanges. This approach allows enterprises, including some of the world’s largest banks and capital market institutions, to pay in their preferred currency, which is then converted to #LINK. Already over $1M in LINK has been secured in the Reserve since its early-stage launch. Chainlink expects no withdrawals for multiple years, enabling steady growth over time. With enterprise adoption and demand for Chainlink’s capabilities accelerating, the Reserve is set to become a significant long-term asset for the Chainlink Network.
