Watching the GPT-5 demos, this one really caught my eye. Most experts thought we were years away from LLMs being able to fully rewrite a codebase in Rust. It’s a highly deterministic task that stochastic models like LLMs weren’t expected to handle accurately. Could be a sign of a real breakthrough!
