The best application I found for AI so far is (supplemental, not replacement) peer review. While not as good as peer review from experts, it is the most readily available resource that could check your test for consistencies, verify that your citations are accurate, and point out important context you might have missed. The scientific quality of my writing definitely improved overnight thanks to this capability, and I hope this will present itself in the monster post about selfish mining I'm currently writing for @QuaiNetwork
