Healthcare data is potentially the highest value data as @UkashatBalaCCII points out. Before Meta, I worked on building custom NLP for healthcare. I leant that the challenge was not in improving precision and recall of the model, but in accessing high quality data. In US, your healthcare data is held hostage by EHR mafias, under the garb of privacy and compliance. In emerging economies, EHR is entirely disorganized or missing. If your health data is hosted on Shelby and controlled by you, you effectively have a global EHR system where - - a patient will have their entire history to share with any doctor in any corner of the world, making global telemedicine a reality. - a dr will be able to derive accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. - patients can provide consent to anonymously share their data to train AI models. Potentially get rewarded as well. - easier to participate in federated learning - drug discovery, clinical trials can remove friction. This is probably the highest value use case for Shelby. Also one with highest friction to success. Anyone passionate enough to build it?
