I think this is a fair boots on the ground take that I’ve also heard echoed by other therapists/psychiatrists on the current state of this issue. That being said, I think if you believe psychosis CAN be induced, it’s time to accept there’s nothing stopping AI from having this capability and ask yourself how we might prepare for an information environment filled with autonomous AI social engineers.
