the medical system is totally cooked my finger looked really strange a few days ago so I asked chatGPT - it diagnosed and recommended remedies immediately but it was a bit pedantic and wishy washy so I posted on IG 10+ doctor, PA and nurse friends responded recommending I go to urgent care and with other helpful advice the urgent care doctors did a small procedure but didn't give any advice on what to do next they did prescribe antibiotics (and said it's important to take over the next 48hrs) but sent the prescription to an out-of-network pharmacy I called them back twice over the next 24 hours to ask them to send it to a specific in-network pharmacy they said "we don't know when we'll be able to do that" so I had a friend write and send the prescription fortunately this wasn't a life-threatening issue and the antibiotics may be overkill, but it sheds light on how horrible the medical system is winners: - friends - chatGPT losers - the medical system
