my friend grew his LI from 0 to 450k LI in 3 years here's what he shared with me yesterday. LI growth meeting notes: - 1x post per day (max of 2 per day) - post M-F (build up consistent engagement before posting weekends too) - every post should be a) personal story with photo b) helpful within your niche + a graphic c) a highly shareable image with your unique POV/commentary - ask people to repost if they found it helpful (it's cringe but people will do it) - tell people to follow you for more content like this (include copy and your tag in each post. again, super cringe but he swears by this) - comment on 10-20 other creator posts per day (ideally within your niche) - try to reply to every single person who comments on your post - if doing video, do horizontal (unless it's a less polished iPhone/UGC style video of you) - vertical short form video not great if doing podcast clips - most (maybe all?) posts should have a mix of long form copy + image - when doing long form copy, broetry really works -- use tabs/spacing so that each line is readable - hooks are so important, especially since you only get 3 lines of copy before the "see more" button -- overindex on great hooks but be sure to deliver with the rest of each post - LI loves infographics, charts, quote cards, & photos of real people aka you -- keep using them till they stop working - no reposts (they count like a regular post and since you only have 1-2 per day, you don't want to waste one) - be very consistent for months -- since shelf life for content is weeks (vs hours), it might take a while to see initial growth hope this helps
