one of the main goals of Out-Of-Pocket is to get non-healthcare people interested in healthcare that can be very hard!!! Healthcare is a hard topic to make interesting + in many cases it requires a ton of context to talk about anything Humor is one of the ways you can make healthcare interesting to people - and it seems silly but memes are actually an excellent way to solidify a concept in people's heads (the first assignment in our healthcare 101 course is making a meme about something you've learned, because it forces you to go through the mental exercise) Anyway I have a lot of fun writing the newsletter, and emails like this really make my day.
