Externalities are the major trends. Compared to the last cycle or the one before that, we need to ask, "What has changed in the core engine that is taking off this time? What fuel is being used? Who are the powerful protagonists?" These are qualitative questions. Once clarified, we quantitatively capture the variables (constant and dynamic parameters). Of course, we can also ask ourselves, "Where are you?" These fundamental questions need to be asked this time and the next.
