Externalities are the major trends. Compared to the previous cycle or the one before that, we need to ask, "What has changed in the core engine that takes off higher this time? What fuel is being used? Who is the more powerful protagonist?" These are qualitative questions. Once clarified, we can quantitatively capture the variables (constant and dynamic parameters). Of course, we can also ask ourselves, "Where are you?" These fundamental questions need to be asked this time and the next.
