I've always despised the word "dapp." An "app" is the right word to describe mobile app-based crypto tools. If it's on the web, it may make sense to describe your product as a website/platform, or as a browser extension, depending on what it is. Just don't call it a dapp. I'd love to see that word die. "Dapp" as it's been used doesn't specify the consumer platform (browser/mobile/desktop etc). It's also alienating to non-crypto native audiences. And then there's the spelling of it: DApp, dApp, Dapp, dapp? The word is a thing of the past. Of the dinosaur age, even. Plus, because the d stands for "decentralized," that opens up a whole other can of worms (as a subjective adjective) for those of us who want to debate what that even means. It's time for "dapps" to go extinct.
