Wow. This editorial basically says that covid restrictions destroyed social norms leading to violence, murder, reckless driving, excessive alcohol and drug usage and overdose deaths. It warns against destroying social norms and social cohesion with lockdowns. Some of us said this in 2020 and got ourselves cancelled. We remain cancelled. Now the @nytimes writes it like no one ever said it before and it's a brave but normal thing to say. But this very newspaper tried to destroy anyone who said these things 3-5 years ago. And they succeeded. And now they want to seem stunning and brave? They can fuck right off.
