I give you a new version of the Bitcoin node client: "Bitcoin DEIS". If you're unhappy with Bitcoin Core policy changes, you can now run Bitcoin Deis/Knots. Bitcon Deis is not complicated - it's a clone of Bitcoin Core version 28.1 ( a version before significant shenanigannary took place), and I made some changes to the graphics and text. You never actually need to follow the latest versions of Core to stay in consensus. Bitcoin Deis is only available currently with Parmanode.
