American Dynamism will not save us. At least not for a few decades. Our critical v1 infrastructure is rotting and we have no plan to monitor, maintain, and repair the assets we already have. And v2 is nearly impossible to monitor from the ground (men) or the stars (satellite).

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) gave US infra a C- in its 2021 report card. A C- means infrastructure is in mediocre to poor condition, with many elements approaching the end of their useful life. Next report card published in 2025...

The obvious response to all of this is drones. What is less obvious is why this hasn't happened already. There are 440,000 certified drone pilots in the U.S. So why aren’t they exhausted, overworked, and flying daily to protect our crumbling infrastructure from the sky?

We spent the better part of June and July 2024 dissecting this market and the last 10 months building the solution. The truth is that both sides of the market, drone pilots and asset owners/operators are completely throttled by a lack of standards and a venue to transact.
