I never thought I would say this but a few months ago I subscribed to the Criterion Channel on my TV and it's honestly the best media thing I've paid for in recent memory. I've watched a bunch of incredible movies that I've never even heard of, not art house BS just to feel sophisticated, but truly surprisingly cool films. Great catalogue obviously but also the channel is curated in super niche art-historical clusters, some even have their own trailers. I subscribe to stuff all the time and then never use it, I was fully expecting that to happen with this. What a wonderful surprise.
