One of the biggest challenges I’ve found vibe coding is getting the agent to read API spec and not guess what the API does. It’s a training data gravity well where they are so overconfident they’ve seen this API before no matter what I say they guess.

I’ve tried pre-prompts, cursor rules, code comments, forcing the use of playwright, transcribing docs to the repo, adding docs via cursor, threats, it almost never works and the first attempt is always a guess.
