Fund idea: "Act II" Would invest $1-2M into early teams that executed brilliantly, but were wrong about some aspect of their hypothesis (it happens) and are pivoting Seems weird (invest in failures?) but I bet it would out-perform general seed funds for a few reasons:
1. Team's ability to hire and execute can be validated 2. Team is hungry, practical, and less blinded by their own vision / ideology 3. Nobody is doing this (afaik) so valuations would be favorable
Is anyone doing this?
