Took the Muni today and witnessed an encounter between a disturbed dude and a dad with two kids, disturbed dude freaked out and started ranting at the dad for “standing behind him” I notice that this sort of thing most often happens around stations that don’t have fare gates

This happens bc despite an enormous city budget SF still can’t seem to afford to construct enclosed train stations at street level One wonders where that money goes
