He’s threatening to redraw the state’s House map to give Republicans up to 8 new seats instead of 5.
The message? Keep running, and the GOP gets even stronger.
Redistricting just became a political punishment.
Abbot:
"If they don’t start showing up, we may make it 6, or 7, or 8 new seats we’re going to be adding on the Republican side."
Moral of the story? Skip your job, and your colleagues might just do it their way without you.
