Three ways to fix cities: 1. Get rid of the bums. Scoop up vagrants and drop them off in the woods or desert. Put a small tally mark tattoo on them each time this happens. Increasingly harsh punishments for repeated violations. 2. Crush criminals. Treat petty theft, fare violations, graffiti, littering, and other property rights crimes with extreme seriousness. Physically punish criminals in public, with minimized time between crime and consequence. 3. End all rent control, tenant's rights, or any interference in a free market for property. Allow as much building as possible, and allow units to flow to their highest valued used.
