This is Beit Lahia Cemetery, the resting place of my younger brother, two of my grandparents, and several uncles and aunts. After Israel’s destruction of a large part of the cemetery, the Palestinian Civil Defense and the Beit Lahia Municipality were only today able to carry out the reburial of only some remains. Now I no longer know where the graves, or even the remains, of my brother, my grandparents, and other relatives lie. Each day, my pain and my trauma are deepened more and more.
