IMO if you want to compete against EHRs, what you actually need to do is enable physicians to go independent Most complaints about EHRs are actually complaints about how hospitals are large enterprises, and any software built for large enterprises sucks. Smaller practices means more specific workflows and simpler interfaces. So what you really need to do is enable more small practices, with the EHR as one component of enabling that.
