I’m amazed by how many people still wear masks in DC—especially cloth ones, which we've long known do basically nothing. I think we really underestimate how much long-term psychological damage COVID restrictionism did to some people. It’s sad.

Yes, people can make their own choices. I won't interfere with someone wearing a cloth mask in 2025 if they want to do that. But let's not pretend it isn't a little sad that some people are still engaging in safety theater because they're stuck in the neuroses of 5 years ago.
