sat in a few debriefs this week that made me proud to work at @0xPolygon every hiring process wraps up with a debrief with the hiring team to chat through the feedback throughout the interview process - digging deep into skills, experience, values, basically "is this candidate going to raise the bar here, love being a part of Polygon, and thrive' i'm certain since introducing this process we've sharpened up so much and made better hiring decisions - letting go candidates that in the past might have been hired, and making hiring decisions that we're supremely confident about but what made me proud is seeing the depth of opinions being shared by the folks here involved in the hiring decisions - sharing feedback that might go against the grain or general consensus, even when it's difficult to do so. sharing opinions in a respectful way is one of our core values, and it's special to see it in action if you've been involved in an interview process with @0xPolygon and got to final stages, you can know whether you get an offer or not, that every decision comes with a huge amount of rigour and thoughtfulness. at the end of the day, we're dealing with peoples livelihoods and careers, and i sleep easy at night knowing that we're making the right decisions by our candidates and potential future employees
