over the next ~five years, materialism and superficiality will decline HEAVILY. (with chiron entering taurus in 2026 and saturn entering taurus in 2028). we will learn how to be happy with less, stop spending our money on products we don’t need, and learn the value of NONMATERIAL things. things like experiences, community, and the simple joys in life will become more important than looking rich (and still feeling empty). we'll realize that pleasure doesn't have to come from how much money or how many things we have. this is likely to be a product of our lack of resources. we have seen these transits during periods of financial downturn. so yeah, money will be tighter overall. that doesn’t have to be a bad thing though (and if we DON'T de-center materialism and change our mindsets about that, we will just feel victimized by the world). we will become more resourceful, craftier, get better at making things ourselves rather than buying them, and invest in higher quality goods and services that LAST. instead of going out to a fancy dinner and posting pictures on instagram, we'll be inviting friends or family over for a BBQ. instead of buying all that shit influencers push, we'll narrow down the things we ACTUALLY need and make our own decisions. instead of spending money on THINGS, we'll spend it on experiences and memories. instead of posting those memories online and editing our pics to be perfect, we'll send them to those closest to us and put them in albums. instead of paying for someone else to entertain us, we'll tap into our own creativity, passions, and hobbies... ones that allow us to express ourselves, connect with others, and experience true pleasure. these are the things I pray for.
