The Resignation #1

I managed to make a living for so long from cryptoart, between 2018 - 2025 I almost got a Job several times but managed to grind my way through and with astonishing help from fellow artists and collectors i could continue my dream. The downside was building for a long time, unmanageable tax debts, student finance, living costs all whilst the market of cryptoart continued to spiral downward for 2 years straight. Seeing others who didn't work as hard, didn't commit undeniable loyalty like myself to the space get saved whilst I drown made me want to give up and tbh part of me did... I gave in and got a job stacking shelves at Tesco only 2 months ago. This made everything worse in many ways because without art I'm basically dead inside, sure I didn't have to sit in the shadows of lesser artists that were fake smiling at everyone but I didn't have my art and losing that is a far greater pain than drowning in finances and fakers shadows. But it's not all about what I want, the community expressed how much they want my art to continue and ofc I want the same thing. If I didn't believe in this I wouldn't be making this letter. So this is your opportunity to show me you want me to give it my all. That I'm worth full time nurturing of my art and continue to express how I do. If all 100 editions get scooped I will hand in this letter at Tesco and go back to art full time. Any less I will see as not enough because 7 years in the space, the scale of collectors is broad enough to answer the doubt and define a career worth defining. If you want me here, grab a letter if not, that's ok I won't fight you just art elsewhere. There is a 2 week timer, you choose my career.
