The first time learning rock climbing, I found there are many routes inside. Climbing with a rope also requires finding a partner to act as the so-called belayer (protector). The climber and the belayer have a set of specific commands for each step that must be mastered. Therefore, when it comes to rope climbing, it's essential to find a partner, and both must undergo training, ensuring their schedules can align. Climbing without a rope carries a greater risk of falling to the ground, but of course, indoor mats are relatively soft, so falling isn't a big issue. After climbing for a few minutes, my forearms felt particularly sore; this sport requires a high level of strength in the fingers, wrists, and forearms. A significant difference between rock climbing and all other sports is that you must calculate the climbing route in real-time, and your focus must be highly concentrated, allowing no room for error. Therefore, it isn't particularly dull, and this sport has a special effect on reducing mental stress, likely because experienced climbers can easily enter a flow state. Since this is a completely new sport for me, it provides a positive stimulation to the brain, and that night I slept particularly deeply, waking up feeling great in the morning. I highly recommend it.
